3D Monoprints, 3D Paintings and Large Scale Paper Installation at

CINNABAR Art Gallery, San Antonio, Texas

Orna Feinstein's first solo exhibition at the CINNABAR Art Gallery in San Antonio is the first time the artist combines a large scale paper installation with recent 3D monoprints and 3D paintings that are offered for sale at a commercial gallery. The large scale paper installation continues the artist exploration of creating art from reused art invitations following the PAPELLIBRIUM and MULTI-LIBRIUM exhibitions.

CINNABAR Art Gallery is located at 1420 S. Alamo #147, San Antonio, TX 78210. This show runs from July 18th through September 6th, 2018.

Secret Garden exhibition at CINNABAR Art Gallery

Artist Orna Feinstein explains the intricacies of the Secret Garden installation in the following public Artist Talk from the show opening on July 18, 2018:

Suzan Oliver Heard, CINNABAR Art Gallery director, and Artist Orna Feinstein.

Over the past ten years, Orna Feinstein has collected tens of thousands of art exhibition invitations and she has repurposed them to create her new installation.

A relatively closed area of the CINNABAR Art gallery was filled with the paper installation on the floor. A bench facing the Ring Series #414 (30"x44" 2015) artwork allows visitors to enjoy a meditative experience.

Visitors walk through the paper installation to view the recent 3D Monoprints.

The gallery's piano has been covered with the same reused art invitations as the rest of the floor.
